SUNLIGHT RECOVERY
Sunlight Recovery is a full residential licensed treatment program that includes individual therapy, group therapy and family workshops. We provide a wide array of services ranging from interventions and detoxification to independent sober living on our campus. Residents at this level participate in daily full clinical services provided by our licensed, credentialed and experienced staff available around the clock. Our program is customized and sensitive to each resident’s individual needs and therefore there is a variable length of stay based on clinical and medical recommendations.
Our gender specific treatment program is tailored to help individuals identify and assess core issues related to the addictive process including past maladaptive patterns of behavior and dysfunctional processes that often result in relapse. We have trained and certified hypno-therapists, neurolinguistic practitioners and trauma specialists to assist residents conceptualize the diseases of addiction in a manner that promotes long term sobriety and recovery. Many addicts and alcoholics have their struggles intensified with co-occurring or co-morbid psychiatric diagnoses including depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. Our ability to treat dual-diagnosis residents under the care of renowned psychiatrist and addictionologist ensures that you or your loved one will be provided with comprehensive, quality and consistent care.
SUNLIGHT FAMILY WORKSHOP
Integral to our clinical services in the Sunlight Recovery program is the newly added Family Workshop component that takes place each month and has helped restore and renew hope to families devastated by the disease of addiction. Our belief is that addiction is not only an individual problem but more often deeply embedded in the family system and treatment and recovery is geared towards exploring family of origin issues and providing increased insight and support to struggling loved ones and family members. Often times addressing family of origin issues including exploring the family structure as it relates to the addictive process is a key component of understanding and treating addiction and maintaining lasting sobriety. Family members are invited to participate in a 2 day workshop with their loved ones in an effort to better understand the role of family dynamics in the addictive process, learning to support recovery rather than enable addiction, open channels of healthy communication and promote an overall wellness within the family system.
Our services at Sunlight Recovery include but are not limited to the following:
- Safe and medically monitored detoxification services as needed
- Care and treatment under renowned Addictionologist and Psychiatrist, Dr Aldo Morales
- Medication management and monitoring under licensed and registered nursing staff
- Complete medical and bio-psychosocial assessments by trained, licensed and credentialed staff
- Psychological testing as necessary
- Individual and group counseling with experienced and credentialed addiction professionals
- 2 day family workshops on the campus each month
- Individualized, quality and consistent case-management from the beginning to end of treatment
- Gender-specific groups that address relevant and pertinent topics related to understanding and treating addiction.
- Licensed Nutritionist services available as needed.
- Medical, nursing and psycho-pharmacological needs are available around the clock.
- Daily drug and alcohol testing
- Morning and evening 12 step AA/NA meetings on campus with invitations for community guest speakers.
- Daily guided meditation every morning
- Residents share 2-bedroom apartments, fully furnished and equipped with all amenities including full service kitchens.
- Gender specific housing and resort-style pools and patios
- Quality, healthy and wholesome meals under the guidance of a nutritionist provided by JoJo’s Sober Café located on our campus (Includes breakfast, lunch and dinner)
- Curfew strictly enforced
- WiFi Internet access available throughout the campus.
- Close proximity to a variety of spiritual and religious localities
- Membership to Powerhouse Gym which includes yoga classes
- Sober activities include: movies, beach outings, bowling, fishing, snorkeling and weekly cook-outs
