Job Purpose:
The Clinical Therapist is responsible for performing a wide variety of client care activities as directed by the attending physician, Medical Director and Clinical Director. Serves clients by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating addictive disorders, character pathology and co-occurring disorders.
Duties:
* Responsible for client caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapist.
* Conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments.
* Develops treatment plan by establishing treatment goals and methodologies in collaboration with the treatment team.
* Maintain communication with the referral source and other services provided as needed.
* Treats client by utilizing psychological techniques and therapies; discussing progress toward goals with client; monitoring development; evaluating and adjusting treatment; collaborating with other specialists.
* Maintains historical records by documenting treatment events.
* Assures quality service for clients by enforcing rules, regulations, and legal requirements with clients; documenting events of the treatment process.
* Maintains professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Behavioral Health Tech
Serve as a support for clients entering into treatment at Florida House and Sunlight Recovery, Inc. . Primary responsibilities are to observe and document patient interaction in the residential setting.
*Candidates for the position of Behavioral Health Tech shall have at least a H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. and 2 years of experience in the field of addictions.
* Preferred candidates will possess a CBHT.
*Candidates will possess a basic understanding of chemical dependency and the recovery process.
*Candidates will possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
*Candidates shall be at least 21 years, have an acceptable driving record according to Company Insurance Requirements
