We recognize the need for an individual to develop healthy family relationships as a part of his or her core to addiction recovery.

Through our Family Outreach Program, you will have the help and support from our Family Counselors and Family Therapists along your loved one’s journey – and your family’s journey – to recovery. It is not uncommon for your loved one to be reluctant to admit to having a problem and needing drug treatment. It is also not uncommon for family members to feel torn on how best to approach their loved one about the drug addiction or alcoholism. Once your loved one enters our drug treatment care, he or she will progress through all phases of our addiction treatment programs beginning with medical detoxification and transitioning to sober living. Through these phases, our Family Program incorporates self-awareness and knowledge of family dynamics. We emphasize the importance of communication and understanding within the family and introduce self-help tools and behavioral applications in family counseling and family therapy. Among the other qualities learned are coping skills, life skills, responsibility, and positive reinforcement.

You, your family and your loved one will work closely in our Family Outreach Program, along with our family counselor and clinical and medical staff.
