The Florida House Experience offers a unique alternative to traditional 28-day treatment models that have proven unsuccessful in the treatment of addiction. Using a medical model, we conceptualize addiction as a disease that requires stable, long term rehabilitation often involving exploring various components of the disease with a special emphasis on the family system.
The Florida House Experience is an all encompassing one that offers a range of clinical services and care from intensive residential treatment to independent sober living on our beautiful 3 acre campus. Historically many addicts and alcoholics successfully complete residential treatment however struggle to maintain long term sobriety. Our reality based, innovative approach to addiction treatment is unique in that it helps recovering addicts and alcoholics safely and comfortably transition from intensive residential treatment to intensive outpatient treatment to independent sober living, all on our campus. Between intensive treatment and integrating back into the real world, many addicts and alcoholics new to sobriety are unable to transition successfully and slip through the cracks. The Florida House Experience is designed to bridge that gap and gradually allow for residents to re-integrate into the outside world as fully functional and productive members of society.
